Golf fans rage about same thing as PGA Tour pro makes albatross in Hawaii
PGA Tour pro Taylor Pendrith carded a rare albatross during the final round of The Sentry in Hawaii.
Taylor Pendrith made history during the final round of the first PGA Tour event of 2025.
The 33-year-old Canadian made an albatross at The Sentry on the Plantation Course's par-5 fifth hole.
It represented the first in the tournament's 27-year history.
Pendrith holed out from 203 yards.
It would have been cool for Pendrith had the three strokes he picked up moved him into contention.
But unfortunately it only lifted him to within seven of runaway leader Hideki Matsuyama.
The only problem for some golf fans was that, despite the feat, there wasn't great footage of Pendrith's shot.
Camera crews weren't properly in place and therefore there is only grainy footage of the shot.
Pendrith can just about be seen in the distance taking aim.
Footage shows the ball landing on the green before going into the centre of the cup after taking a couple of bounces.

Some viewers weren't happy with what they saw, especially considering that only four days ago the circuit unveiled PGA Tour Studios, a state-of-the-art production studio.
The Tour claim that it that will "redefine and energise how the Tour creates and delivers content to golf fans across the globe."
Here's a selection of comments:
"Looks like that $1bn investment is really paying dividends in the product."
"Was this filmed in analogue?"
"I bet you you could hire 18 guys each to sit and film a hole for a limited field event. Probably pay em 20 bucks an hour and a couple beers and you'd almost have half of the quality YouTube golf has."
"LIV Golf would've had cameras."
"Loving this picture quality."
"Your coverage is ruining the game."
"What kind of footage is this? Is this Old Tom Morris making an albatross?"
"And you guys only have CCTV footage?! It's 2025 for goodness sake."
"The coverage is an absolute disgrace, all we watch is the same six or so players hitting every shot. You need to fix this urgently."
