Charley Hull with hilarious response to fan's 'rip that thing' comment
England's Charley Hull drew laughter from the gallery with her response to a fan's comment at the US Women's Open.
Charley Hull had the perfect response to a fan who shouted out 'rip that thing' during the US Women's Open.
England's Hull, 28, caused something of a stir on social media on the eve of the ladies major at Lancaster Country Club after she was seen smoking cigarettes for the first time on the LPGA Tour.
Some golf fans likenened Hull ripping cigarettes on the course to that of two-time major champion John Daly back in the day.
Despite her habit though, Hull admits she 'hates smoking' and that she will soon be quitting.
She only smokes to help her relax when she's feeling a tad stressed.
Slow play doesn't help either, she concluded.
Hull was also cheekily asked out by a spectator in the gallery during the US Women's Open.
That didn't end too well, and Hull also has a celebrity boyfriend, according to reports.
During the tournament, one fan shouted out 'come on Charley, rip that thing', as he spotted the LPGA Tour star striding the fairway with a cigarette to hand.
After chuckles in the gallery, Hull replied: 'Hope you're talking about my driver', to the cries of more laughter behind the ropes.

Hull closed with a solid 67 to finish 6-over par in T19.
She finished 10 shots behind winner Yuka Saso, who clinched her second US Women's Open title.
Saso, 22, also won the title in 2021.
The Japanese star carded a final-round 68 to prevail by three shots over compatriot Hinako Shibuno.
