Ian Poulter delighted the home fans with a 'no-look putt' (kinda sorta) during the final round of LIV Golf UK.

Poulter, 48, sadly failed to win his first LIV Golf title on home soil at JCB Golf & Country Club in Rochester, England.

But he did give the home fans reason to cheer.

The Englishman started on the par-4 8th in the shotgun start on Sunday and he burst out the gate with a birdie.

He then headed over to the par-4 9th, a hole where his LIV Golf team have set up 'The Majesticks Arms' behind the green.

Poulter announced on Friday that he was offering free drinks for the first 150 fans to his new local.

Not wanting to let down his home fans, the European Ryder Cup hero made it two birdies in a row when burying a 12-footer in the heart.

He even looked away at the crowd as his putt was half way to the hole.

Poults then plucked his ball out of the cup before saluting the locals over at 'The Majesticks Arms'.

Flushing It labelled it a 'no-look putt'.

Though a number of golf fans think that's up for debate given Poulter's eyes were fixated on the ball at impact.

But still, let's give Poults the benefit of doubt and call this the first official 'no-look putt' ever made on LIV Golf.

Poulter then went and made it three consecutive birdies when adding another at the par-5 10th.

He then endured something of rollercaster.

Poulter dropped two shots with a disastrous double-bogey seven the par-5 13th.

He get both shots back with consecutive birdies at 14 and 15 but would then hand them back again with bogeys at 16 and 1.

Another bogey followed at 4 but he would get that back with a birdie on the his final hole of the day at the par-4 7th.

It all added up to a round of 70.

Poulter finished the week just inside the top 30.

Here's a closer look at 'The Majesticks Arms' that has been created by Poulter's Majesticks GC:

Business has seemingly booming for Majesticks GC this week with thousands of pints being served in 'The Majesticks Arms' over the three days of play at JCB Golf & Country Club.

Poulter is a co-captain of Majesticks GC alongside Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson.

Sam Horsfield is the fourth member of the team.

Poulter is on the cusp of the Drop Zone in the 2024 LIV Golf League standings.

But since he is a captain and under contract with LIV Golf, he cannot be relegated.

The same story cannot be said for a number of other stars who all face the potential to be axed from LIV Golf.

LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has fired a stern warning in the direction of underperforming players with just three events left of the regular season.
