Full Biography
Nicolai Højgaard, born on March 12, 2001, in Denmark, is a rising star in professional golf.
Alongside his twin brother, Rasmus, he has achieved significant milestones early in his career.
Nicolai turned professional in 2019 and quickly made his mark, winning the 2021 Italian Open, becoming part of a historic achievement where the twins won DP World Tour events in consecutive weeks.
He has since added two more DP World Tour titles, including the 2023 DP World Tour Championship, which earned him a PGA Tour card.
Højgaard made his Ryder Cup debut in 2023 as the youngest member of Team Europe.
While his record was 0-2-1, he impressed with his composure on golf's biggest team stage.
In amateur golf, Nicolai and Rasmus represented Denmark, securing the 2018 Eisenhower Trophy and playing in the Junior Ryder Cup.
