Jon Rahm sent an ominous warning to his rivals with a one-word answer before teeing it up at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.

Rahm, 28, arrives at this week's PGA Tour elevated event in a rich vein of form and the pride of knowing he's currently the best player in the world.

We're sure you don't need reminding just how well the Spaniard has been playing over the last six months.

At the start of the year he had back-to-back victories at the Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express.

To the surprise of Rahm he didn't have his best stuff at Torrey Pines when he played the Farmers. It was at the venue he won his maiden major.

Still, it didn't take Rahm long to get back in the winner's circle as he won the Genesis Invitational to take his 2023 PGA Tour earnings to $9,402,750.

That doesn't include the $462,000 he cashed for at the CJ Cup in October during the wraparound season.

It sure is good to be Jon Rahm.

Rahm took the opportunity to remind his rivals just how good he is playing and feeling at the moment.

Asked if he is firing on all cylinders if there was any man that could beat him in his mind, Rahm simply replied: "No".

Watch:

Rahm has previously spoken of his admiration for Tiger Woods

When he won at Riviera, he was grinning ear-to-ear as he clutched the trophy alongside the 15-time major champion.

Rahm has revealed how in the past he has attempted to get some, heck, any advice from Woods.

He joked that Woods would rather give Justin Thomas "a dissertation" about how to play a shot instead of him.

Yet it appears Rahm did grab a tiny little nugget about what the 47-year-old thinks of his 82 PGA Tour victories.

Just how many times did Woods feel he had his best stuff on all four days?

Rahm told the media:

"The thing is, you don't need to be firing on all cylinders to win. I actually had a conversation similar to this with Tiger. I asked him, out of the 82 wins on the PGA Tour … how many times do you think you played your best all four days? And he said, 'Three at most.' A lot of those Sundays he played his best, but the whole week, very few."

And those 'three at most' were?

Rahm said Woods told him it was the 2000 U.S. Open and Open Championship.

The Spaniard said you could also pick "any other win" from his stunning nine victories in that campaign.

As for Rahm, he joked that the only time he felt he had his best stuff was at the Memorial.

If you recall, he led through 54 holes in the 2021 event but had to withdraw after testing positive for COVID-19

We suppose it wasn't so bad after all, as after his 10-day period of isolation he won the U.S. Open
