Simpson is one of five players so far this week to withdraw their name from the John Deere Classic. The American has been replaced in the field by Australia's Greg Chalmers.
Brandon Wu has also withdrawn and he's been replaced by 2017 Barbasol Championship winner Grayson Murray, a player known for having a very fiery temper on the golf course.
Murray reportedly told Rory McIlroy to "f*** off" at a recent players meeting.
CT Pan, Vincent Norman and Charley Hoffman have also been forced out.
Derek Ernst, Derek Lamely and Peter Kuest come in.
