Paige Spiranac's big urgent warning to golfers this Christmas: 'Please, please, please...'

Golf social media sensation Paige Spiranac - and GolfMagic for that matter - is urging all golfers to go and get custom fit for their golf equipment not just this festive season, but all the time. 

Spiranac, 31, took to her Instagram Story to post a lengthy message to her followers about the key benefits of being custom fit for golf equipment instead of just simply buying clubs from off the rack.

The beauty of being custom fit for your golf clubs is that they will be custom fit to your game and your game only. 

From length and lie to shaft and flex, golf brands can build golf clubs to your own desired specs to help you lower your scores.

Spiranac, who plays off an incredible +3.9 handicap right now, spoke at length about custom fitting via her Instagram Story on 25 November, a full month before Christmas Day.

"Okay so I want to talk about something because I know holidays are round the corner and I'm sure that golf equipment is on your wish list, but please, please, please instead of that, get a club fitting," said Spiranac to her 4m followers via her Instagram Story.

"This is so you can get equipment that is fit for you. I see so many people throwing so much money away, buying clubs from off the rack that doesn't fit them and then they are disappointed.

"Everyone that you are watching on here, club professionals, teaching pros, Tour players, influencers, good players, they have all got fit for their equipment. No one that you are watching on here that is promoting something has got that club from off the rack, it has been fit and perfectly tailored for them so it helps their game.

"It's just so important because there are no bad brands out there right now. All of the golf brands are doing a fantastic job, the equipment is amazing, but you need to go and get fit to see what's perfect for you and that's a better bang for your buck.

"And I know what you're saying, no that's actually not a better bang for my buck going and buying clubs off the rack is, it's not true. Yes, more money up front to get fit, and the total number can be daunting, but think about it this way... you are investing into your game and investing into this equipment instead of buying from off the rack which is not going to work perfectly for you. It might be slightly better for you, but you're not going to see the big gains you are looking for, so go and invest in a club fitting. That way you are going to find the equipment that works perfectly. The next time a new driver comes out, you don't have to keep upgrading and upgrading, you already have a set that you can have for a very long time. You don't always need to upgrade to the best new equipment, the best equipment is the equipment that is fit for you. Yes, it's more expensive but it is so incredibly worth it so please, please, please go get fit."
