Palmer’s grandson Sam Saunders was present to see the statue unveiled, as was longtime friend and former LPGA Tour commisioner Charlie Meachem.
The CareerBuilder Challenge was won by Jon Rahm who came through a play-off after ending on -22 for the event, while Saunders finished T8 on -18.
