Srixon revamps AD333 Tour ball for 2016
New Srixon ball excels for golfers without tour-level swing speeds who demand a tour-level ball
Srixon has revamped its popular AD333 Tour ball for those players without tour-level swing speeds that seek tour-like feel.
The new 3-piece model continues with all the technology found in the former AD333 Tour ball but according to the company now launches higher and spins less for longer distance on all shots.
This has been made possible thanks to a new Energetic Gradient Growth core that is five compression points softer to aid distance and deliver a softer feel.
With a firm outer layer that softens towards the centre, the core is precisely cured at different temperatures to achieve stiffness variations in a design that aids long-term durability and consistent power distribution from shot-to-shot.
NEW: Srixon UltiSoft ball
The new AD333 Tour ball is covered by a thin and soft Urethane cover thats aids overall softness by 21% compared to the previous AD333 Tour to improve feedback off the face.
Second generation SpinSkin technology, as packed into the brand's popular Z Star version, also increases frictional force by 18% to improve short game control, while its 324 Speed Dimple pattern improves the aerodynamics to reduce drag for longer drives.
Srixon's marketing manager Ben Davis said: "Our new AD333 Tour will feel slightly softer and spin more around the greens thanks to its lower compression and new second generation Spin Skin technology."
