The 'newest' LIV Golf player previously had 'NO INTEREST' in breakaway tour
The 'latest' player to jump from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf appears to have changed his mind about the breakaway tour in a matter of weeks.
GolfMagic previously documented all of the players who changed their mind about the LIV Golf League.
If rumours about Brendan Steele turn out to be true, perhaps we'll have to update our list.
It was only a matter of weeks ago that Steele, a 39-year-old three-time PGA Tour winner, stated he had "no interest" in joining the breakaway tour.
Steele did say he had no problem with players jumping to LIV, but his message was clear: don't expect to be allowed back.
Now according to reporting by ESPN he will become one of three players who will be joining Greg Norman et al.
Steele is said to be joining Danny Lee and World No. 34 Thomas Pieters as the latest additions due to be announced on 20 February.
Pieters, in particular, appears to have agreed to join LIV after he was left perplexed by not being invited to play Tiger Woods' Genesis Invitational.
As for Steele, the American previously told reporters in a conference call he wasn't interested, adding:

Steele continued:
Steele started playing on the PGA Tour in 2011 and has claimed three wins. Two of those came back-to-back at the Safeway Open and he also won the Valero Texas Open.
He has played in nine PGA Tour events this season, earning $350,609 in prize money. He was in the Riviera field but withdrew before the tournament.
LIV players earn a guaranteed $120,000 for every 54-hole event they play. The winner takes home $4m. There are also team-based bonuses.
Dustin Johnson scooped more than $35m during the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series. That was after signing for a reported $150m.
LIV Golf kick off their 2023 campaign at El Camaleón Golf Course over 24-26 February.
