ECCO unveils Cage Evo shoe
ECCO releases Autumn/Winter golf shoe offering for first time
ECCO has unveiled its first ever golf shoe offering for Autumn/Winter in the form of the cleated Cage Evo.
The shoe boasts a Direct-injected Process wrap around system and multi-material upper, and PU-structured textile bonded with polyurethane for comfort and protection.
The shoe follows on from the impressive ECCO Cage shoe, which was released to the market at the start of the year.
REVIEW: ECCO CAGE
More tech
- One-piece DIP stability cage that wraps from the heel through the midsole and across the toe box.
- An anatomical outsole design that aligns and moves in unison with the foot’s essential ligaments and muscles.
- ECCO Freedom Fit which combines a snug heel setting with a roomier forefoot area that allows toes to move naturally.
- Waterrepellant thanks to Hydromax treatment
- Lightweight, low-to-the-ground construction
- Champ Slim-lok cleats
- Integrated TUP sank that matches foot’s movements
- Removable inlay sole
Like all ECCO shoes in the 2016 range, the Cage Evo is made utilising DIP to bond the upper and outsole unit, creating a one-piece shoe without using glue or stitching.
“With the original ECCO Cage having been so well-received internationally, we’re extremely excited about the introduction of this lightweight and eye-catching addition to our cleated family,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO.
The shoe will be available in UK stores in two weeks.
