Dustin Johnson follows Michael Block by hitting brutal SHANK at US PGA!
LIV Golf's Dustin Johnson hits a shank for the second week running!
Dustin Johnson hit a shank for the second week running when teeing off the par-3 3rd during round two of the US PGA Championship at Oak Hill.
Johnson's shank came just half an hour after PGA professional Michael Block hit a hosel rocket on the 5th.
To his credit, DJ went on to make a bogey to limit the damage and keep his hopes alive of winning a third major title.
"Shanks very much," said Sky's on-course commentator Wayne Riley.
DJ ended up shooting a round of 74 to fall back to 1-over par.
Despite his error that led to a double-bogey five, Block is incredibly going to make the halfway cut at the US PGA.
Block has made just over $38,000 in prize money from 24 Tour events in his career.
The American progressed serenely to 3-under par and one stroke off the pace but he bogeyed the 4th and doubled the 5th on the way home to fall back to level par.
However, Block is comfortably going to make the halfway cut come the end of Friday so full credit to him.
DJ just shanked one again, that's a good sign. After his last shank at Tulsa he played the next 2 1/2 rounds at 18 under. Just give him the trophy now. pic.twitter.com/JxRt4CO3lU

For Johnson, it marks a second shank in consecutive weeks on Tour.
The former World No.1 hit a brutal shank in the opening round of LIV Golf Tulsa, which he went on to win.
David Feherty cracked a joke.
Only Block's shank was posted on social media, so here it is:

He then added: "Shivers down my spine."
Michael Block is a @PGA professional. He’s currently tied for SECOND and not even watching his drives because they’re so pure. Legend. pic.twitter.com/PxfUnczm91
