Confirmed: Jim Furyk names Keegan Bradley's Presidents Cup replacement
Jim Furyk has confirmed Brandt Snedeker will replace assume one of the vice captaincy roles at the Presidents Cup after Bradley made the team.
Jim Furyk has confirmed Brandt Snedeker will assume the responsibility as one of his assistants for the Presidents Cup.
Keegan Bradley was part of Furyk's leadership team for the forthcoming contest in Quebec, Canada.
The idea was to give Bradley some experience before he leads the red, white and blue at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
But the American PGA Tour golfer was chosen to be part of the team by Furyk after his victory at the BMW Championship.
The PGA Tour confirmed Snedeker's appointment on Wednesday.
Furyk said: "I enjoyed competing together with Brandt at the 2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah.
"He is a fierce competitor, great teammate and one of the most respected players on the PGA Tour.
"He will provide a steady voice in the team room, and I will rely on him for insight and advice as we lead our 12 players into Montreal at the end of the month."
