Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) have just released a fresh batch of bodycam footage from Scottie Scheffler's arrest outside last month's US PGA at Valhalla.

One video shows Scheffler being placed in handcuffs by officer Bryan Gillis.

"Man, I'm about to get arrested, I'm just trying to get to a tee time," a shaken Scheffler is heard saying on the first video, which you can watch below.

A second video shows the arresting officer asking Scheffler whether Tiger Woods is really any good at golf?

In another incredible video, Scheffler talks about Rory McIlroy getting a police escort to the Ryder Cup.

Some of the standout quotes from the below videos include:

  • "You're too casual to be the number one player in the world. You should have had a driver.”
  • “You’re 27 and you’re freaking playing in the PGA!”
  • "So I assume you're pretty good if you're playing in the PGA. Is Tiger as good as they say he is?”

Shock images of officer Gillis' injuries and 'ripped pants' were also released today.

The latest footage comes exactly three weeks after Scheffler was arrested after he misunderstood the traffic flow situation following a fatal collision in the early hours outside of Valhalla GC ahead of the second round of the US PGA.

He went to jail for just over an hour, and was then released before going on to finish T8 in the second major of the season.

Scheffler was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer.

But all charges were dropped on 29 May.

Prosecutors said they simply did not have enough evidence to go forward with the case, and they asked a judge to close the case.
