Scottie Scheffler is just built differently.
The PGA Tour star hit one of the worst shots we have ever seen him hit during the final round of the Tour Championship at East Lake.

So what was so bad?

It's more commonly known as a shank.

And boy was it spectacular.
What transpired happened on the 8th hole.
The two-time Masters champion was level par for the day, courtesy of two birdies and two bogeys.
At the drivable par-4, Scheffler's tee shot caught the greenside bunker.
Per ShotTracker, he only had 79 feet to the pin.
But he ended up playing his third 88 feet away after finding the hosel.
It's not what you expect to see from a player with a $25m bonus on the line.
Scheffler eventually tapped in for a bogey and trudged off the green with his lead reduced to two shots.
But then he turned the screw and pulled away from Collin Morikawa courtesy of three quick-fire birdies.
At the 9th, Scheffler stuffed his tee shot at the par-3 to inside six feet and rolled in the birdie putt with ease.
Then at the 10th, his approach from 107 yards settled inside four feet. Another birdie.
He wasn't done there as he converted another birdie putt, this time from 15ft, at the par-4 12th.
All of a sudden, his lead was back to five with seven holes to play in the season finale.
