Max Homa shot goes badly wrong as he nearly wipes out golf fans in front of him!
Golf fans get the shocks of their lives as PGA Tour star Max Homa nearly wipes them out at TPC Sawgrass.
A video has gone viral of Max Homa very nearly wiping out golf fans directly in front of him during the third round of The Players Championship.
While initially it looked as though a spectator had been struck in the head by Homa's shot, it has since been confirmed on Twitter / X that Homa's shot struck a branch above the man in the gallery.
One user cleared up the situation: "This is my brother's roommates video... almost took off their heads. The ball hit a branch right above their heads."
Another commented: "The original video is posted on TikTok from his sister I believe and she puts on the post he is fine."

It is believed the incident happened on the par-4 14th where Homa went on to make a disastrous nine.
Homa birdied the last two holes to card a third-round 74.
He then posted a final-round 71 to finish the week well out of contention at level par.
Although the best PGA Tour players are all teeing it up at The Players Championship, it does just go to show that not every player is immune to a bad shot every now and then.
It also goes to show some fans should probably not always risk standing directly in front of a PGA Tour player.
