Olesen recorded a stunning hole-in-one on the 8th en route to carding a 67 in the third round.
The eight-time DP World Tour is looking to win a first PGA Tour title, and also become the first Dane to win on the circuit.
Bhatia, on the other hand, is looking to bring up his PGA Tour hat-trick.
Other players in the mix for the 3M Open on Sunday include Jake Knapp, Takumi Kanaya, Kurt Kitayama and Sam Stevens.
