Security to Tiger Woods outside players' locker room before The Open: "Who are you?"
PGA Tour pro Michael Kim has revealed an hilarious tale about one exchange Tiger Woods had a with a security guard during The Open Championship.
PGA Tour golfer Michael Kim has revealed he oversaw an incredible exchange Tiger Woods had with a security guard during an Open Championship where the decorated player flexed hard.
Kim took to X on 16 July to tell the tale, three days before the 152nd Open at Royal Troon gets underway.
He did not say what Open it was but the 31-year-old claimed what happened occurred 'during the mid 2000s'.
As we know, this was when Woods was in his pomp.
Woods captured three Opens during his illustrious, hall-of-fame career, the last of which came in 2006 when he hoisted the claret jug at Royal Liverpool.
According to Kim, Woods forgot his credentials when attempting to get into the players' locker room.
A security guard had absolutely no idea who he was.
Woods response?
"Tiger looks around, sees a massive billboard with his name and face on it, points to it, says that's my credentials and walked into the locker room," Kim wrote.

Woods is now 48 years old and he's playing in his 23rd Open Championship.
His private jet landed in Scotland last Sunday.
In his pre-tournament news conference, Woods said he had not slept.
His sleepless night was caused by the attempted assassination attempt of former US president Donald Trump.
"I didn't accomplish a lot because I wasn't in the right frame of mind," Woods said in his pre-tournament news conference.
"It was a long night and that's all we watched the entire time on the way over here.
"I didn't sleep at all on the flight, and then we just got on the golf course."
Elsewhere, Woods jabbed back at Colin Montgomerie after the Scot implored him to retire.
Montgomerie responded, telling Woods that his quote was taken out of context.
Woods was also adamant he has a chance to win this week.
The 15-time major champion has been handed a 2.37pm BST tee time on Thursday with Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele.
The American trio are then out at 9.25am BST on Friday.
