Rory McIlroy wipes out a drone during a DP World Tour challenge with Gareth Bale before closing things out with a 64 to finish T3 in Abu Dhabi.
Rory McIlroy incredibly took out a drone alongside football legend Gareth Bale while on the range in Abu Dhabi.
McIlroy, 35, joined former Real Madrid and Spurs winger Bale, 35, for a new DP World Tour challenge video while competing in this week's Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship at Yas Links.

The World No.3 and the football legend were tasked with the goal of taking out one of the drones that was whizzing around in the sky.
After several close attempts from both players, McIlroy finally got the job done, much to his delight.

McIlroy then went on to shoot a fantastic final-round 64 to finish the tournament T3 on 21-under par.
That came up three shots shy of eventual winner Paul Waring, who recorded his first victory on the circuit in more than six years.
The performance also all but wraps up a sixth Harry Vardon trophy for McIlroy, a feat also achieved by late great Seve Ballesteros.
McIlroy is now some 1,800 points clear of second place Thriston Lawrence heading into next week's season-ending DP World Tour Championship.

When McIlroy does etch his name on the trophy next Sunday, it will mark a third straight Race to Dubai title.
Colin Montgomerie is the record Order of Merit champion on the European Tour having won it eight times.
McIlroy has admitted beating Monty's record is one of his career goals.
