The total prize purse for the 2024 edition of the tournament is a little bit different this year.
Last October, when Sami Välimäki won the title in a playoff, he pocketed $637,500 from a $3.75m prize purse.
This year, however, the Qatar Masters has seen its prize purse slashed.
The total prize for the Qatar Masters this year is $2.5m. The winner will take home $425,000.
