Patrick Cantlay on Ryder Cup skipper? "I'll give him my unfiltered opinion"
Patrick Cantlay says he's looking forward to the Ryder Cup 'drama' unfolding over the next few weeks as the PGA Tour season draws to a close.
Patrick Cantlay says he's 'definitely interested' in watching the Ryder Cup drama unfold over the next few weeks.
Cantlay finds himself in a strong position to automatically qualify for Zach Johnson's U.S. side ahead of the second leg of the 2023 FedEx Cup playoffs.
Scottie Scheffler and Wyndham Clark have already secured automatic qualifying berths.
Cantlay is currently ranked third in the standings and is considered a lock but there are a litany of names jockeying for position.
Behind Cantlay are Brian Harman, LIV Golf's Brooks Koepka and Max Homa.
