Golf fans all saying same thing after seeing latest Team Europe Ryder Cup pic
Golf fans bemused as to why Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry are wearing different Ryder Cup shirts.
Golf fans have been left baffled after Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry were wearing different Ryder Cup shirts in Team Europe's latest photo at Marco Simone in Rome.
Luke Donald's Team Europe headed over to the Ryder Cup venue on Monday to spend the day testing out the course.
This came just two days after Zach Johnson's Team USA had the same idea.
Golf fans were all left saying the same thing about Stewart Cink in Team USA's latest photo at Marco Simone.
The story was no different when Team Europe had their photograph on Monday too.
McIlroy and Lowry were pictured on the back row of the team photo but were bizarrely wearing different white shirts to the rest of the team.

Here's how a number of golf fans reacted to the Team Europe pic:
How come the two Irish legends are wearing different polo shirts?
Different shirts for Lowry and Rors. Why?
Why do Rory and Shane have different shirts to the rest of the guys?
Did they run out of new shirts for Rory and Shane?
Could they not find sizes for Rory and Shane?!

Others were also interested to see McIlroy refused the offer of a cap once again.
McIlroy has historically not worn a cap in the Ryder Cup because he says the Team Europe hats do not fit his "pea head".
Can you please make an official Ryder Cup cap that fits Rory? We remember the Hazeltine debacle!

He did, however, wear a backwards hat during practice.
Team Europe headed back to England on Tuesday with the entire team, including the captain and vice-captains, to compete in this week's BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
Team USA is bidding to win the Ryder Cup for the first time on European soil since 1993.
