Max Speed
The Max Speed fairway wood is a game improvement fairway wood and has many of the same characteristics as the Max Speed driver.
It’s a high launching, 18 degree club which is very easy to hit. It needs minimal effort to get the ball in the air and for it to travel a good distance.
It’s a draw bias fairway wood which you can definitely see at address which I found a little disconcerting but may instil confidence with players who tend to leak balls to the right.

Compared to the Max Speed driver, the fairway wood allows for better control although for me I struggled with the high launch angle.
It has a solid feel although when compared to the premium fairway woods it was some way behind.
Verdict
A forgiving fairway wood which instils confidence. Decent distance, workability and a great price.
