Barbados 2.0 putter

The Rife Barbados 2.0 putter instills confidence when sat behind the ball and the three lines on the crown make it easy to align the club to the target. The black finish also negates glare, and is aesthetically pleasing.

Compared to the original Barbados putter from Rife, the 2.0's head is more compact, while the edges and face are thicker. This makes the flatstick incredibly stable and well balanced. It makes light work of short putts, which will suit those who tend to tremble over those sliding five footers.

It has an appealing, solid feel and it offers a good amount of feedback to the user. The RollGroove face gets the ball rolling off the face end over end.

While it is superb from short distances, there isn't as much control on offer when you have to give it more of a swing from distance.

Verdict

Confidence inspiring putter that is superb from short distances. Not the best on long putts.
