Classic XL Custom
Cleveland has a number of elegant, black drivers on the market and the Classic XL Custom is no different.
The classy 460cc head has a beautiful, uncluttered black finish which looks great.
In terms of distance, the Classic XL Custom wasn’t revolutionary but I still got good yardage out of it.
The adjustable head allowed me to do a whole load of different things off the tee. It allowed me to change the ball flight while not changing my swing and I was also able to draw and fade the ball with ease.

It’s a driver that’s nice to swing – one that begs a few practice swings before each shot. A nice balanced weight to the head allowed me to swing the driver with a consistent tempo. It has a solid feel at impact and produces a nice sound.
Verdict
An adjustable driver that makes manipulating the ball easy. Elegant and nicely weighted, the Cleveland Classic XL Custom is a fantastic driver.
