Tiger Woods chuckles to himself as he delivers Lionel Messi verdict
Tiger Woods had already weighed in on the debate on who the best player ever is before Lionel Messi lifted the World Cup for Argentina.
Tiger Woods weighed into the debate over whether or not Lionel Messi is the greatest player of all time before Argentina's epic World Cup final win over France.
For many fans Messi has now cemented himself as the greatest player ever after he scored twice and converted his penalty in a shootout over Les Bleus at the Lusail Stadium stadium in Qatar.
Messi opened the scoring for Argentina from the penalty spot on 23 minutes before Angel Di Maria doubled their lead.

Argentina looked to have thrown the trophy away as Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the final 10 minutes to take the game into extra time.
Messi scored once again on 108 minutes before Mbappe struck from the spot in the dying embers of the game to take the score to 3-3.
Argentina then won 4-2 in the penalty shootout in one of the most thrilling climaxes of the tournament's history.
Even if Messi wasn't successful in delivering Argentina's first World Cup since the death of Diego Maradona, Tiger believes the little genius is the greatest of all time.

Tiger was playing in the PNC Championship with his son Charlie Woods.
The duo were both hobbling during the first round but combined to shoot a 13-under 59 in Florida.
Tiger is still recovering form his single vehicle car crash and is using a golf cart to get around the course.
His rehab was dealt a blow when he developed plantar fasciitis before the Hero World Challenge on the PGA Tour in early December.
Plantar fasciitis is a condition which causes inflammation in the foot.
As for Charlie he rolled his ankle before the PNC Championship.
Both Tiger and Charlie melted hearts after they hit their first tee shots at the father/son jaunt, congratulating Elin Nordegren on the birth of a baby boy.
