"Shut the f*** up!" Matt Wallace BERATES caddie at Valspar Championship
Matt Wallace and caddie in huge bust up on final hole in round three of the Valspar Championship.
Matt Wallace was seen berating his caddie on the final hole in the third round of the Valspar Championship.
The heated moment between Wallace and his caddie by the name of Sam happened after Wallace played a shot from off the cart parth on the par-4 18th.
It would seem like they had a disagreement about whether to hit the ball off the path.
Wallace hit the shot from off the path and the ball ended up just shy of the green.
He thankfully went on to make a par and remain very much in the hunt for a maiden PGA Tour title at 5-under par, which is just three shots off the pace heading into the final round.
According to social media, Matt and his caddie "hugged it out" after the round, so all is apparently well ahead of tomorrow.
Anyway, here's the video:
Matt Wallace and his caddie getting in a dispute of some sorts in the 18th fairway.
The only thing I could make out was a very clear "Shut the fuck up" from Wallace.
Which is sick.

I like how the caddy looks at the bottom of the club, "caught it clean huh?"

What a complete tool.

Known for giving very respected caddy Dave McNally a hard time when he had him on the bag. Needs to cop on to himself.

Matt, grab the bag off of the caddy and carry it yourself. Caddy needs to wind it in!

Wallace has history of being a d*ck to caddies

No idea what it takes to compete on that level but the caddy dependency / shrink / ‘can’t be my fault’ routine w some these guys is ridiculous.

It's not the first time Wallace has berated one of his caddies.
I watched him play the 18th and this is the only dialogue with the caddie on my DVR pic.twitter.com/tbPXZReTmS

At the top of the leaderboard, Adam Schenk (70) birdied the final hole of the day to move into a one-shot lead on 8-under par over Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood, who both carded 69s.
Webb Simpson (68), Cody Gribble (70) and Taylor Moore (69) are just two shots behind on 6-under par.
Who wins the Valspar Championship?
— GolfMagic (@GolfMagic) March 18, 2023
Schenk, 31, is looking to win his maiden PGA Tour title.
The same story incredibly applies for Fleetwood, despite being a six-time DP World Tour winner.
Spieth is looking to win his 14th, and his first in just under 12 months.
Simpson is bidding to win his eighth PGA Tour title but his first in just under three years.
