PGA Tour winners have HILARIOUS reaction to Rickie Fowler's victory
Rickie Fowler's friends were quite possibly even happier than he was after his Rocket Mortgage Classic win.
When Rickie Fowler sunk his putt Sunday in Detroit to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic, the entire golf world was able to relax a little bit.
It'd been over four years since the orange-wearing fan favourite won a PGA Tour event, and up until this season, it looked like there was a possibility he never would again.
It had been a complete change to the mid-2010's when Fowler was one of the best golfers in the game.
And a lot has changed since the friend group of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Fowler, and Smylie Kaufman were making headlines for their beach golf vacations, but Fowler's famous friends were still arguably even happier than he was on Sunday.
Fowler was in the mix for the entirety of the round on Sunday, and forced his way into a playoff with Collin Morikawa and Adam Hadwin.
On the first extra hole, he was the only player out of the three to sink his birdie chance, earning his sixth career PGA Tour victory, four years after his fifth.
His fellow PGA Tour players and friends all seemed to be watching along and live-tweeting like the rest of us.
That includes two-time major winner Thomas:

Who also seemed to be overjoyed that Fowler won, even though it wasn't being broadcast live on CBS:
I can’t get over I actually had to watch the end of that golf streamed on my phone but dammit I’m sure glad I did!!!!! So pumped for @RickieFowler right now. Lfg brother!!!!

Though, no one was as funny on Twitter as Kaufman, who now does commentary for the NBC and Golf Channel broadcasts.
Here's a few of his hilarious tweets from Sunday's final round:

Safe to say, Fowler's friends were some of the happiest people on Sunday when the 34-year-old finally won again.
