Here's the payout info for the PGA Tour's 2023 Fortinet Championship

The 2023 Fortinet Championship on the PGA Tour has a total prize purse of $8.4m. 

That means the winner will walk away with $1,512,000. 

The total prize money for this event has received a small cash injection as Max Homa scooped $1.4m for his win here last year. 

Homa is attempting to win the tournament in Napa, California, for the third year in a row. 

The Fortinet Championship is actually the first tournament of the PGA Tour's reimagined fall schedule. 

Over the coming weeks players will jockey for position to retain their playing rights and attempt to get into next year's signature events. 

Signature events, previously described as elevated and designated, are tournaments that carry huge prize purses. 

They were created in an attempt to try and rival LIV Golf events, where the field compete for $25m.
