Who is Patrick Cantlay's caddie? Meet Joe LaCava
Patrick Cantlay caddie: Who is Patrick Cantlay's caddie? Here is everything you need to know about the PGA Tour star's bag man Joe LaCava.
Patrick Cantlay's caddie is none other than Joe LaCava, one of the most recognisable loopers on the PGA Tour.
Cantlay and LaCava teamed up in May 2023 after the looper parted ways with his previous player, Tiger Woods.
Woods and LaCava worked together for 12 years and the highlight of their relationship was undoubtedly clinching the 2019 Masters.
But they called it quits given Tiger's limited playing schedule following his 2021 car crash.
Tiger gave his blessing to Joe to switch players.
Before caddying for Woods, LaCava enjoyed a prolific career on the PGA Tour, working alongside Freddy Couples, Davis Love III and Dustin Johnson.
Couples won the 1992 Masters with LaCava on the bag, with the pair going on to win 12 times together on the PGA Tour.
LaCava most recently made headlines after he got into a heated altercation with Rory McIlroy at the 2023 Ryder Cup.
The ugly scenes erupted after LaCava celebrated in front of McIlroy, appearing to interfere with the European's preparation to hit a vital putt on the 18th green.

The argument spilt out into the parking lot, and fellow bag man Jim "Bones" Mackay eventually had to play the role of peacemaker as things got ugly at Marco Simone Country Club in Italy.
Despite that small blotch on his record, LaCava has enjoyed a hall-of-fame career, notching up 28 PGA victories, including two Masters titles.
LaCava began his career in 1987, working for his cousin Ken Green.
Outside of golf, LaCava is married to Megan and has two children, Joe Jr. and Lauren.
The LaCava family lives in Western Connecticut, where Joe was born and raised.
LaCava was inducted into the caddie hall of fame in 2019 for his work promoting the important role of caddies in golf.
