Danny Lee decided he'd had enough of his flat stick at A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier Classic.
As Danny Lee walked off the 18th green after missing the cut at A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier Classic he handed a young fan his putter, prompting the shocked youngster to ask “are you sure?”.
He was, giving the nipper the accompanying headcover later.
Lee is a two-time winner at the event, but is going through a spate of lean form and struggled again last week.
While it’s common for pros to hand out gloves and balls at events, you rarely see hardwear making its way over the ropes.
