WATCH: John Senden WHIFFS tee shot as driver SNAPS mid-swing!

Australian Tour pro John Senden SNAPPED his driver mid-swing on the par-5 9th during the first round of the Australian PGA Championship.

The driver snap not only caused him to whiff his tee shot, but the club's shaft then stabbed him in the hand!

Thankfully Senden walked away from the incident without a serious injury, but under the rules of golf, the stroke counted as one and he was then told to tee up his second shot high despite not now having his driver! 

Senden went on to make a bogey-six and he carded a level-par 72 to lie six strokes off the early pace.
