Tour pros mock college golfers for using push carts - and it's hilarious
Who knew push carts could elicit such an emotional response?
Wow - who knew Tour pros would have such an issue with college golfers using push carts?
Enfuriated, they jumped onto social media to vent, with mixed responses from golf fans.
I mean, using carts has been proven to reduce injury and improve scores, but this lot ain’t having it.
I still can’t take these pull carts seriously #NCAAGolf

I have questions. Do they travel with their own push carts? Do they put trendy stickers on them? Is there a pocket for all their feelings?

Pretty much every pro out on Tour now carried their bag in college. Never saw a guy use a pull cart when I was in college. Just started seeing them within the last 5 years. So yes the pros did carry their bags at one point

Everyone is thinking it.

Love how the NCAA golf champs are on tv now. Sick of all the push carts tho.....soft

I agree lol. Especially the guys haha

But I always carried it on my right shoulder and possibly have a little scoliosis(and a longer right clavicle) because of it. I’ve received two different opinions from Orthopaedic specialists.

And now, the people's response...
Harris English has a hard time taking college golf seriously because of pull carts. Brittany Lincicome agreed. As for me, I’m a big fan. Much like short courses, they’re great for kids, seniors, and everything in between. Your thoughts?

I have really enjoyed watching college golf but laugh at people saying the guys using push carts are soft. Is that similar to saying NFL players who wear long sleeves in freezing cold are soft? That seems like dumb logic. #useeveryadvantage

I played college golf for Ferris State 1984-1986. No pull carts, no shorts (that sucked!), and also no driver-5 iron to 635 yard par 5's.

All the people that are making negative comments clearly didn't play college golf. First range finders and now pull carts. Next thing ya know it will be 9 hole matches only.

You’re missing the point we are talking about 18-22 year old men who can’t carry a bag for 18 holes??? Give me a break! They should all have to carry, we all did growing up in junior golf and college and so did Harris and the boys, bunch of damn snowflakes pushing their carts

College golf pull carts are way better that college golf push carts.
