Sergio Garcia Blind Putting Challenge | Is putting with your eyes closed better?
GolfMagic's Andy and Alex go head-to-head in a putting challenge with a twist.
Sergio Garcia recently won his 36th professional title and his 11th on the PGA Tour when he claimed the Sanderson Farms Invitational, but one of the main stories that came of the event was Garcia revealing that he likes to putt with his eyes closed.
It turns out that Garcia has been doing this for a while and the Spaniard has his eyes closed for 75% of his putts.
Garcia says that it allows him to focus more on the stroke and less on where he should be looking, which helps him hit more putts out of the centre of the clubface.

Now due to Garcia's success on the greens at the Country Club of Jackson, we decided to put his theory to the test in a putting challenge of our own.
Watch the video below as GolfMagic's Andy and Alex go head-to-head in a blind putting challenge.
Well it turns out it's a lot harder than it looks and apart from Alex's epic putt in the sudden-death play-off, both our lads were pretty useless at putting with their eyes closed.
