John Peterson hits Titleist Pro V1 balls on Interstate-20

IT might not have been quite as grand as Tiger Woods stopping traffic at the recent inaugural Turkish Airlines Open, but it's still worthy of a spot on Golfmagic.
John Peterson, the 2011 NCAA champ from LSU who tied for fourth at the 2012 US Open, found himself stuck in traffic during a recent snowstorm in Texas, so he did what any golf-loving 23-year-old would under the circumstances. Hit golf balls, of course.
The PGA Tour rookie jumped out of the car, grabbed a few clubs, dropped some Titleist Pro V1 balls into the crusty-looking snow, and began smacking shots toward the trees and fencing bordering Interstate-20.
