Jamie Donaldson fired a sizzling final-round seven under 65 for a three-shot victory at the Thailand Golf Championship.

Donaldson, 40, started the day two shots behind overnight leader Clement Sordet but nine birdies and two bogeys saw him land his first title of the season.

The win marks Donaldson's first since claiming the Czech Masters in August last year and moves him back into the world's top 50 at 43.

“This is certainly one of my best victories – there were a lot of good players playing here this week,” said Donaldson, who secured his eighth victory as a professional golfer.

“The field is very strong and to beat these guys was great.”

Looking inside the TaylorMade staff player's bag and you will notice the Welshman is happy to play with older equipment such as the SLDR driver, RBZ Tour fairway wood and PING i15 irons.
