Bryson DeChambeau has admitted to ripping part of his hand off while trying to whip out the crowd during the Vegas Golden Knights' NHL game on Saturday night.

DeChambeau was seen wearing tape on his hand in the final round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open where he went on to clinch a fourth PGA Tour title in his last 12 starts.

The five-time PGA Tour winner was a special guest at the NHL team’s game on Saturday night, when he was tasked with “ringing the siren” before the start of the third period - but things ended badly as you can see at the end of the video below...

"I ripped part of my hand off, which is nice," said DeChambeau, just moments after winning the tournament on Sunday.

"I was freaking out. I’m like, Wow, I’m really in some doo-doo; not in a good place."

He added: "I gave that thing a whirl and got the crowd pumped up for the third quarter and they went on to win, so, more power to them, and more power to me, I guess.”
