Cabrera accused of striking ex-girlfriend and attempting to run her over
Two-time major champion under investigation for incident on 21 December
Two-time major champion Angel Cabrera is accused of striking and threatening his ex-girlfriend, before attempting to run her over with a van in his native Argentina.
Cabrera is being investigated for causing “minor injuries” on 21 December, with a spokesman confirming the 2009 Masters and 2007 US Open champion has been interviewed and released.

Cabrera, 47, currently competes primarily on the second-tier Web.com Tour after losing his PGA Tour card.
