Tiger Woods returns to action this week at the Memorial Tournament for the second consecutive event at Muirfield Village and with five victories already at the Ohio track, the Big Cat will be looking to come back with a bang, but for one of our writers, the return of Woods has lost its spark.

In the latest episode of the GolfMagic chat show, we discuss Collin Morikawa's victory at the Workday Charity Open, the return of Woods and our betting tips for the Memorial Tournament. Watch the latest episode of the GolfMagic chat show below.

WORKDAY CHARITY OPEN

It was the best end to a PGA Tour event that we have seen since it returned after its forced 91-day break, with an action-packed final round that had us all glued to our seats.

Justin Thomas had a 3-shot lead with just three holes remaining, but with bogeys at 16 and 18 and Morikawa finding a birdie at 17, the Workday Charity Open went to a play-off.

The first extra hole was nothing short of spectacular, with Thomas rolling in a 50-foot putt for birdie and screaming in what was probably a victory cry, only for Morikawa to answer back with a sensational birdie of his own.

Both players made par as they went down the 18th once again, forcing a third play-off hole down the 10th where Thomas found trouble off the tee.

Thomas couldn't match Morikawa's par and the 23-year-old won his second PGA Tour title, meaning the young superstar now has more wins than missed cuts since turning professional.

TIGER WOODS RETURNS

Woods will play his first PGA Tour event since he finished last at the Genesis Open (out of those who made the cut) and the 15-time major champion picked one of his favourite courses to mark his return, with five victories at Muirfield Village to his name.

The 44-year-old will be looking to find a run of form before the US PGA Championship in a few weeks time and he's in elite company this week, pairing alongside World No.1 Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka.
