Solheim Cup: Europe bounce back to tie things up heading into Sunday Singles
Team Europe fight back to level things up at 8-8 heading into the Singles at Finca Cortesin.
Team Europe fought back valiantly at the Solheim Cup on Saturday afternoon to tie things up at 8-8 heading into the 12 Sunday Singles matches at Finca Cortesin.
Europe trailed the USA 4-0 in Friday's opening session, before ending the day at 5-3 down.
Suzann Pettersen's European side tied the Saturday morning foursomes 2-2 but they then clawed their way back into the match by taking the fourballs session 3-1.
That means the match is finely poised heading into the final day at 8-8.

Charley Hull & Leona Maguire led the line from the front in the afternoon fourballs with an emphatic 4&3 victory.
Cheyenne Knight & Angel Yin then got a point back on the board for Stacy Lewis' United States.
But with the score at 8-6 in the favour of Team USA, the final two European pairings of Madelene Sagstrom & Emily Pedersen and Linn Grant & Carlota Ciganda piled in the birdies to stick some blue back on the board and bring the contest back to 8-8.
Grant incredibly birdied the first six holes in her match.

There are now 12 points up for grabs with the singles matches on Sunday.
Europe are bidding to win the Solheim Cup for a record third time in a row.
