Amundi Evian Championship prize purse, winner's share: How much they can win
This is how much they are playing for at the Amundi Evian Championship at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
The Amundi Evian Championship boasts a total prize purse of $6.5million, which is up from last year's $4.5million.
That means that the winner will take home a record check of $1million.
The leaderboard was stacked with big names heading into the final round at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
Brooke Henderson, Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Charley Hull and Carlota Ciganda were all in contention trying to chase down the leader Sophie Shubert.
Money in golf has clearly been a big talking point this year after the emergence of LIV Golf.
Just this week the LPGA Tour commissioner said she would take the call from Greg Norman's LIV.
The women's majors have received considerable boosts to their prize purses in 2022. Jennifer Kupcho took home $750,000 for her victory at the Chevron Championship which had a total prize purse of $5million.
Australia's Minjee Lee took home a record $1.8million at the U.S. Women's Open, which had a prize purse of $10million thanks to sponsor ProMedica.
At the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, which had a prize purse of $9million, In Gee Chun scooped $1.35million.
