LIV Golf: Which players have made the most money after Bangkok Invitational?
Dustin Johnson was confirmed as the individual champion of the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series following the conclusion of the Bangkok event.
With one tournament left of the first regular season of the LIV Golf Tour, Dustin Johnson was crowned as the individual champion at the Bangkok Invitational.
Johnson finished 16th at Stonehill Golf Course and, following Branden Grace's withdrawal from the event with injury, this was enough to secure the points needed for the top prize of $18 million.
The two-time major champion won the Boston Invitational in a playoff at the start of September and he's also recorded three top-five finishes in the other four events.
Although he didn't produce his finest game in Thailand last week, the 38-year-old banked $233,600. Unfortunately, the 4 Aces' streak of four consecutive wins came to an end at the hands of the Fireballs.
Fireballs GC was headed by Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra. The young Spaniard shot a 69 in the final round to secure a three-shot victory and his first win on the Saudi-backed series since turning professional earlier in 2022.

Jon Rahm, who also won the acciona Open de Espana on Sunday, congratulated his fellow countryman. Chacarra banked $4,750,000 as a result of his individual success and his whole team's effort.
Having made five appearances on the breakaway circuit, the 22-year-old is now sixth in the overall earnings list. He has made a grand total of $5,640,000.
The top 10 list was mainly unchanged after the events in Bangkok. Following Grace's withdrawal, Patrick Reed moved up to second place with a solid runner-up finish behind Chacarra.
