As is standard in the 'rebel' series, Gooch took home the top prize of $4m from the $25m prize purse.
Gooch joined the breakaway league last June and was originally part of Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces before he was axed in the off-season.

The American, 31, won $9,250,299 in his PGA Tour career but his net worth has been given a considerable boost in the Greg Norman-led league.
