Sonders ends four-year stint on golf coverage.
Holly Sonders may have signed a contract extension with Fox Sports, but to many golf fans' disappointment she will not be part of the network's golf coverage in 2019.
Sonders, 31, was initially hired as a studio host and sideline reporter for Fox Sports' NFL coverage, but she stepped up to golf as of the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay.
Before that, Sonders was a popular broadcaster on Golf Channel's 'Morning Drive' and 'School of Golf'.
“I’m proud to have been part of Fox Sports’ golf coverage,” Sonders told Golf Digest. “The entire team there has been like a family. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Fox Sports and transitioning to a studio role and am incredibly excited about what’s ahead.”
