With Masters champions enshrined forever as immortals of the sport, interest always rests with exactly what clubs these incredible players used to capture victory in the sport's most prestigious event. And with us taking a look at the drivers used to win the last 10 Masters tournaments earlier in the week,
Today we're shifting to the other end of the bag, examining the flat sticks that came up clutch on the hallowed greens at Augusta national.
Recent years years have seen one putter in particular dominating proceedings at Augusta's hallowed tee boxes, with TaylorMade's much-loved Spider winning three of the last six masters.
There are, of course, a few certified classics that have cemented themselves as icons on Masters sunday. Scotty Cameron's Newport remains a firm favourite, having helped carry champions both young and old to the Green Jacket.
As such, in celebration of Masters week getting underway, GolfMagic decided to look back at the drivers that have helped the last 10 Masters champions on their way to a green jacket.

2025: TaylorMade Spider Tour X

Making it two wins in a row for the TaylorMade Spider at Augusta, Rory McIlroy's historic Grand Slam triumph at last year's Masters arguably came in spite of his performance with the putter rather than because of it. He famously missed his last putt at Augusta to force a play-off against Justin Rose, but thankfully the putter came up clutch as he finally closed out the victory.

2024: TaylorMade Spider Tour X

Scottie Scheffler enjoys using his TaylorMade Spider so much he has it in the bag a full two years on from winning his second green jacket, and we can't say we blame him. It's always been said that if Scottie were to ever sort out his putting he'd be unstoppable, and his adoption of the Spider has gone a long way to establishing him as the dominant force on Tour he is today.
2023: Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S

Odyssey ambassador Jon Rahm used his beloved White Hot Rossie great effect en route to his win in 2023, and the classic half-moon shape has remained in his bag ever since.

2022: Scotty Cameron Special Select Timeless Tourtype GSS Prototype

The major victory that kicked off a reign of dominance that has lasted to this day, the 2022 Masters saw a young Scottie Scheffler catapulted into golf's stratosphere. While synonymous with the TaylorMade Spider Tour he uses today, Scheffler actually won his first Masters with a Scotty Cameron in hand, transitioning out of the blade the following year.

Augusta's first Japanese champion is one of golf's most prolific Scotty Cameron collectors, and indeed he had a classic blade from the brand in the bag for his historic Masters win.

2020: TaylorMade Spider Limited Itsy Bitsy

2020's Masters saw Dustin Johnson at the very peak of his powers, setting an all-time scoring record over the four days at Augusta while establishing himself as easily the most dominant player on tour that year. His TaylorMade Spider putter was instrumental in what felt like an inevitable Masters win.

2019: Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS

Tiger's momentous return Masters win came shortly after his transition out of Nike equipment and into TaylorMade, however his trusted Scotty Cameron Newport, a putter he used in 14 of his 15 major wins, was there to sink the final putt in this iconic moment.

2018: Odyssey White Hot Pro 3

Patrick Reed's masters win came with the American playing one of the most eclectic bags ever put together by an eventual champion, comprising Nike fairway woods, Callaway irons, Vokey wedges and an Odyssey putter – in this case the enduringly popular White Hot.
2017: TaylorMade Spider Tour

The first TaylorMade Spider to take a win at Augusta came in the hands of 2017 champion Sergio Garcia, who at the time was contracted as a TaylorMade staff player.
2016: Odyssey Versa #1 Wide
Used by Danny Willett
One of Odyssey's most iconic designs, the high-contrast Versa has proven such a popular blueprint for the brand that it remains in circulation today. Danny Willett used his mid-mallet Versa #1 Wide en route to his surprise win at Augusta in 2016.
