Seed Golf’s new ‘Loosies’ bundles are set to permanently change the way many golfers stock up, offering better value than ever for some of their most popular and renowned products.

Seed has become a market leader in producing Tour-performance balls at a fraction of the cost of its more well-known competitors, and customers can now snap up bundles of 50 or 100 balls – innovatively packaged in low-cost, low-waste boxes before being delivered straight to their home.

‘Loosies’ continue Seed’s ethos of passing production savings onto the consumer to make the game more inclusive and affordable for all, with the bundles’ simple packaging and bulk delivery resulting in the most cost-effective Seed balls to date.

The Loosies package is available for the Seed SD-01 – Seed’s most popular and best-selling product – as well as the SD-15, otherwise known as ‘The Country Mile’. The former was named on Golf Digest’s annual ball hotlist in 2023, as well as winning ‘Best DTC Tour Balls’ by the 2024 Today’s Golfer Ball Test.

Both products are available in standard white or YellowAF, Seed’s eye-catching yellow ball which features an anti-glare effect for better visibility in the sky and on the ground.

As well as being significantly more cost-effective, the combination of reduced packaging and a lower carbon footprint means Loosies represents another step forward in sustainability for the company. Seed is currently the only mass-market golf ball with packaging made from 100 per cent recycled cardboard.

Their golf bags and outerwear, meanwhile, are made from yarns that have been produced by recycling single-use, waste plastic bottles. It takes 27 plastic bottles to make the yarn for one Seed golf bag.

Dean Klatt, founder and CEO of Seed Golf, said: “We’ve been delighted and humbled by the great feedback and awards our balls have received this year, but we don’t want to lose sight of the original mission statement – making golf balls as good as any on the market, but that don’t break the bank.

“Conceptually, Loosies is the perfect way to allow us to provide even better value than we already were. They are cheaper for us to distribute so it’s only fair that those savings are passed down to the golfers.”

Other ways to buy the SD-01 and SD-15 – including Seed’s innovative subscription service, which delivers balls to customers on a monthly basis – will remain accessible at the same price.

Founded in 2017, Seed Golf currently offers five distinct balls in five colourways, ensuring that every golfer can easily find the ideal Seed ball for their style of play. The Ireland-based brand also stocks other golf products including tees, golf bags and apparel.
