Collin Morikawa had millions of reasons to smile after he putted out at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

The 24-year-old won €2.6 million for winning the DP World Tour Championship and an €1 million bonus for winning the Race to Dubai.

It marked his third win of the year to go along with the 149th Open Championship at Royal St George's.

He also picked up the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession.

Not to mention the fact in 2020 he won the PGA Championship. And he's not even 25.

Morikawa provided a Tiger Woods style chase on Sunday as Matthew Fitzpatrick ran out of holes and Rory McIlroy blew up.

Emotional Morikawa teared up as he was awarded his titles, referencing his late grandfather.

This was the final event under the moniker of the European Tour.

From 2022 it will be rebranded as the DP World Tour. Over the season, the prize purses will be north of $200 million.
